Anal Fistula

An anal fistula is an abnormal tunnel connecting the inside of the anal canal to the surrounding skin. It often develops following an infection or anal abscess.

Common symptoms

  • A small opening near the anus
  • Recurrent discharge of pus or fluid
  • Pain, swelling, or irritation
  • Repeated infections or a wound that does not heal

Treatment options

Treatment depends on the fistula's location, complexity, and involvement of the anal sphincter muscles. Specialist evaluation is essential, and surgery or another specialist procedure may be required in many cases.

Our Treatment Approach

1

Sclerotherapy and Injection Treatment

Sclerotherapy is an injection-based procedure used for selected types of hemorrhoids. A suitable medication is injected into the affected tissue to help reduce blood flow and control bleeding.

The procedure is recommended only when clinically appropriate, following proper assessment.

2

Non-Surgical Treatment Options

Depending on the diagnosis and severity of the condition, some patients may be treated without surgery. Available options may include medication, lifestyle modifications, and selected injection-based procedures.

Not every patient is suitable for non-surgical treatment. Our approach is to assess each patient’s condition and explain the available treatment options.

3

Individualized Treatment Plans

Every patient is different. Treatment decisions are based on symptoms, clinical findings, disease severity, previous treatment, and overall health.

Where necessary, additional investigations or referral to an appropriate specialist may be recommended.

Important: Some cases of advanced hemorrhoids and many anal fistulas may require surgery or other specialist interventions.

Dr Asif Ansari, Director of Easy Care Health Service

Our Commitment

We are committed healthcare professional dedicated to offering safe, modern, and patient-centered medical care. Over the years, we focused on developing treatment methods that minimize pain, risk, and recovery time while maintaining the highest standards of medical excellence.

At our clinic, we provide advanced non-surgical treatments designed to help patients recover without the need for traditional operations. Unlike conventional surgical methods, our approach is based on the Chharsutra-free injection technique—a scientifically tested, minimally invasive method that delivers effective results with less discomfort and quicker healing. This innovation allows patients to avoid surgical risks, hospital stays, and lengthy downtime, making treatment safer, faster, and more convenient.

Our philosophy of care is simple: every patient deserves treatment that is safe, effective, and compassionate. I believe in listening carefully to each individual’s concerns, understanding their condition in depth, and tailoring the best possible solution for their unique needs.

Through continuous medical learning and practical experience, I strive to stay at the forefront of non-surgical treatment techniques. My mission is not only to cure but also to improve the overall quality of life for our patients by providing healthcare that is advanced, reliable, and accessible.

Can piles be treated with injections?

Yes. Injection treatment, including sclerotherapy, is an option for selected patients. A clinical assessment is necessary to determine whether it is suitable.

Is anal fissure treatable without surgery?

Many anal fissures improve with appropriate medication, stool-softening measures, dietary changes, and other conservative treatments. Persistent or chronic fissures may require additional treatment.

Can an anal fistula be treated without surgery?

Some selected cases may have alternative treatment options, but many anal fistulas require a specialist procedure or surgery. Proper assessment is important to determine the safest and most effective approach.

Does rectal bleeding always mean piles?
